Learning Designer & Consultant
We are not only made of logic and action; we are also full of feelings, intuition, emotions, and memories. These core parts of our brain define what’s important and what’s not important; they are what give sense.
For over a decade, I have been creating meaningful learning experiences and narratives that trigger these parts of the brain for learning to actually happen, to encourage thinking, memory, and associations, to make people care!
How do I do it?
Start from where the audience is. Put the issue in their terms. What do they want? What do they see? Why hasn’t change happened already? Analyse the forces and choose a battlefront.
Stories drive our natural curiosity; they activate our imagination and engage our emotions. They can change attitudes, beliefs and behaviours.
Marketing strategies don’t show the whole picture; they are a way, a trail, stepping stones. It’s education by doing through experience, rather than just being given information.
Sometimes we just know when something is right. As Albert Einstein said “One can never know why, but one must accept intuition as a fact”.
