I’m a Colombian/British Learning Designer, Storyteller, and L&D Consultant based in Brighton, UK.

With a diverse academic background, including art and design, screenwriting, and philosophy, I have the skills to generate out-of-the-box ideas and strategies; to do things differently.

For 15 years, I’ve spent my days understanding how people learn and reframing organisational problems by identifying root causes (not just symptoms) to align the right training strategies.

My work integrates design thinking, human-centred design, and storytelling to craft transformative learning experiences. I’m driven by a philosophy of sparking curiosity, making learning relevant and provoking action. My approach is informed by industry best practices and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional learning methodologies.

Highlights include designing Stay Safe at KPMG, which won the gold award for 'Excellence in the Design of Learning Content' at the Learning Technologies Awards 2019. I was also shortlisted among the top 7 for best learning designer of the year.

Learning Design

I apply learning theories and methodologies, including behavioural science, to create meaningful learning experiences.

Visual Design

Visual design is also a story. It’s a journey through signs, symbols, humour and metaphors that should feel and work right.

Storytelling

Simply put, the more a series of words or symbols are organised in a narrative, the easier it is to store that series in one’s mind.

Needs Analysis

I think beyond the mandate. I ask lots of questions and dig deep to identify the real cause, not just the symptoms.

Developing and editing

I’m also a story builder. I have experience using advanced authoring tools, GenAI, graphic design and video editing software.

Project Management

I make sure that everything that needs to be done gets done, while making the ride worthwhile and if possible unforgettable.
