The Bird Coach

I transformed a simple racing board game from my son's unused toys into 'The Bird Coach' - a fun, interactive game designed to stimulate coaching skills, creative thinking, and active listening using the GROW model.

In this game, every player assumes the roles of both coach and coachee. As the coach, each player learns and practices the GROW model by guiding the coachee to find their solutions rather than providing them with the answers. As a coachee, each player is empowered to make better decisions, solve problems holding them back, and tap into their full potential.

The game mechanics allow players to ask each other questions, offer feedback, suggest solutions to address their issues and coach the other players to overcome their challenges. In doing so, it gently nudges the quieter players to share their thinking and, at the same time, encourages those who are used to speaking out to listen and ask questions.
